Mr.Chuoi's is situated a short walk from the beach at Golden Buddha Bay on the west coast of Koh Phra Thong. He has 30 beach huts in 3 different styles and sizes. They are made mostly from bamboo and have small balconies.

Those considering Mr.Chuoi's should recognise that the huts are quite basic. Anyone looking for more comfort should consider a stay at Moken Eco or Horizon Beach Resort. Both these resorts are also much closer to the beach.

Staying at Mr. Chuoi's Beach Huts evokes feelings of Thailand 20 years ago. Natural beauty is all around. There are no crowds, no people trying to sell you things you don't want, no feeling of being on the tourist gravy train. Only peace, tranquility and the awareness that you have found your own private paradise.

Mr.Chuoi is a charming host. He speaks some english, having travelled extensively through Europe. The restaurant & bar draws in guests from all over the island as visitors enjoy the laid back atmosphere and good value food.

The kitchen is run by Mr.Chuoi's partner Nui. She is an excellent cook and always ready to create tasty and authentic Thai cuisine. Mr. Chuoi's Beach Huts & Bar is an excellent choice for budget conscious travellers.

    On booking Mr.Chuoi's Beach Huts we will add transfers from Khuraburi town to the pier and the boat onwards to Koh Phra Thong. For full information on why we do this please read our travel notes.

    There are three different entry points to the island depending on tide & time of year. These are Ta Pae Yoi, Baan Lions and Phra Thong Bay. Optimal transfers can be arranged where guests provide travel details in a timely fashion.
