Advice for Phra Thong Seaview Resort

Please familiarise yourself with the area through our local transport and international transport pages. The Koh Phra Thong beaches page will give a broader idea of the layout of the island.

The pier at Baan Lions - Koh Phra Thong is accessible at all times. However, arrival 1-2 hours either side of low tide makes access more difficult. Please avoid arriving at this time where possible.

On booking this accommodation we will add transfers from Khuraburi town to the pier and the boat onwards to Koh Phra Thong. For full information on why we do this please read our budget travel notes.

Once on Koh Phra Thong an internal transfer to/ from Seaview Resort is usually included with all accommodation. Pre-booking will ensure that you will be met at the pier.

Phra Thong Seaview Resort is right next door to Mr.Chuoi's and close to the beach at Golden Buddha Bay on Koh Phra Thong's west coast. The resort has 4 simple huts and 4 larger huts with nicer views. All huts have bathrooms and are priced at 600 Bt and 800 Bt respectively.

Guests to Koh Phra Thong can now take advantage of this newest addition to the budget accommodation options. The rooms are in excellent condition and competitively priced to attract tourists. Similarly, the new manager is excited by the prospect of meeting & hosting guests from around the world.

Your own private beach

Seaview Resort is close to the beach at Golden Buddha Bay with uninterrupted views of the Koh Pling islands. Families can enjoy the shallow tropical water in the bay as it is sheltered from the Andaman Sea. The white sandy beach stretches for 15km. It is shared only with the exclusive Golden Buddha Beach Resort (1.5km to the south) and Phra Thong Bay Bungalows (1km to the south)

There is a coral reef close to the shore to explore. This can be done by snorkeling or scuba diving. Blue Guru Diving are located 10 mins walk to the south at the other end of Golden Buddha Bay. They conduct guided dives for certified divers and PADI courses if you would like to learn.
