The PADI Underwater Videographer specialty course covers the knowledge and skills of underwater videography, including:
- selection, maintenance, care and handling of underwater video equipment
- safe diving practices while using u/w video equipment
- exposure, focus, and maintaining color with video equipment
- shot types, lengths and camera moves
- developing a story line and shot sequencing
- planning, organization, procedures, techniques and problems of underwater
videography
This course includes:
- independent reading
- knowledge review with experienced PADI Instructor
- 3 dives, which can be completed over 1 or 2 days.

By completing the PADI Underwater Videgraphy specialty course you’ll be able to:
- select an underwater video system based on personal preferences, budget & quality requirements
- demonstrate safe diving practices while engaged in underwater videography
- properly set up, maintain and disassemble a video camera, housing and lights
- avoid basic videography errors
- edit and produce underwater video that tells a story and demonstrates appropriate basic videography techniques

- orientation to nocturnal aquatic life
This course includes:

The PADI Deep Diver specialty course covers the knowledge, skills and techniques for diving between
18-40m, including:

- risk factors and decompression-tables review
- safety stops and emergency decompression procedures
- special equipment, descent lines and buoyancy-control considerations
- procedures for flying after diving and high-altitude diving
- orientation to recompression chambers
This course includes:
- independent reading of PADI Deep Diver Specialty manual
- knowledge reviews with experienced PADI instructor
- 4 dives, conducted over 2 days.
The Deep Diver certification qualifies people to dive down to maximum 40m.
This can enable dives to a greater number of wrecks & reef walls.
The PADI Deep Diver specialty course is intended to serve as a safe, supervised introduction to deeper diving within the limits of recreational scuba diving.
