About us at Koh Phra Thong

This website has been built and managed by Blue Guru Diving. Blue Guru is a Thai Limited company with membership of the Tourism Authority of Thailand and the Thai Diving association.

Koh Phra Thong is a special island. It is one of Thailand's last few tropical paradises untouched by the large swathes of tourists hitting other shores. Blue Guru Diving is dedicated in its efforts to assist in the management of tourism to the island.

The Koh Phra Thong website has been setup to provide valuable information about the island and the range of services provided here. Sections of this website are purely for reference and general interest, whilst others are commercial in nature. In this way we aim to give potential visitors to the region a more balanced overview of what is on offer.

Commercial partners on the Koh Phra Thong website do not pay to be on here. Some gain access and recommendation through their eco-credentials and the desire to support an ethos of sustainable tourism. Other community based ventures are supported by this website as they have little or no other way to inform a wider audience of the services they offer.

Bookings made through this website will allow us to encourage local partners to build upon their environmental commitments. In this way we hope to help forge a bright future for Koh Phra Thong.
